Alpacas - Del boy, Boycie and Rodney

Del Boy

I'm Del Boy .and basically I'm the boss (or as mum says the Managing Director)

I was born in June 2017 and, like my brothers, we are part of the legacy herd and have posh names but mum decided we suited Fools and Horses characters better.

Mum says I'm laid back and a bit goofy.   What she doesn't know is I'm watching, planning and staying in her good books and that means treats.

I like food, making new friends, my brothers, and giving kisses, did I mention I like food (especially apples although when mum tells our visitors that I refuse to eat the apples and only want carrots you should see the look on her face lol). I love water and trying to roll in it whilst mum is filling our pool or being sprayed with the hose.

Boycie

This is my brother Boycie.  He was born in June 2019.

He's in charge of Customer Services.

He can be a bit stroppy and aloof at times.  He gets really stroppy at feed time and if we try and taste his food incase it's better than ours, he spits at us - how rude!

When we get to take our guests on a walk whilst I am tasting everything Boycie likes to look around and spook at things.

He's a light fawn colour so not as pretty as I am.

Mum says he looks like a boxer as he had quite a big squished nose.

He likes food (like all of us ) he's not as keen on water and Rodney and I are so stands back when mum has the hosepipe out, he then pretends he doesn't want to be sprayed but stands there till mum sprays him anyway.

Mum says he's the nosiest of us!

Rodney

Although Rodney is the same age as Boycie (born in June 2019) he's very much my baby brother.

Rodney is our Apprentice as most of the time has no idea what's going on!

He can be quite shy unless there's food and then he dives straight in - mum tells him he's cheeky as he tries to steal directly from the bowl.

He's a white colour and loves to make it really dirty to see what mum says.

He likes water but not as much as much.   He loves carrots but will eat apple (if I leave any).

He's a bit of a baby as if he can't see me or Boycie he panics.   Obviously we don't deliberately hide from him to freak him out!
